How often is the Surplus Center open for public purchases?

The Surplus Center will conduct sales open to the general public every Wednesday through Friday from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.

What are terms of sale?

All sales are final and products are sold on an “AS IS” basis with no warranty or guarantee.  There are no returns or refunds.  Payment may be made via credit card only.

How do I contact Customer Service?

Can I hold an item via phone or email?

No items will be held for online purchase at a later date and all purchases from our sales floor must be done in person on the day of the public sale.

If I purchase an oversized item from the Surplus Center can I arrange for delivery?

All items are sold for pick-up by customers only, there is no shipping/delivery available.

How is the pricing of the surplus items determined?

Prices are determined by surplus staff who identify comparables in our database and on the Internet. We develop expertise through active investigation, competitive strategies and fair market valuation.

What type of payment is accepted for items that are purchased?

The following credit cards are the only acceptable forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

If I make a purchase from the Surplus Center can it be returned?

Items purchased are non-refundable and non-returnable. All items are offered for sale on an “as-is” basis with no guarantee or warranty.  All sales are final.

What is done with the profits from the sale of my donated items?

The revenue received through the sale of your donated goods is used within the university system to enhance the student experience.

How long do I have to pick up my purchase?

You must take possession of your purchase within 3 business days.
