Donate Items to the UNLV Surplus Center
The UNLV Surplus Center accepts donations of gently used items from the community in accordance with UNLV Foundation policies and procedures.
How Donating Works
- Bring gently used items to the Surplus Center during our public hours. Please review the list of items we do not accept before donating.
- Receive a donation receipt from the UNLV Foundation. Donations may be tax-deductible.
- The Surplus Center does not offer donation pickups.
Public Hours
The Surplus Center is open to the public for shopping and donation drop-offs Wednesday through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. We are closed on state and university holidays.

The UNLV Surplus Center has served UNLV for more than 15 years. Your donation supports our work to:
- Offer affordable pre-owned merchandise to the community
- Reduce landfill waste through reuse
- Provide jobs and work experience for UNLV students
- Support the community and philanthropy
